Ok, I've looked through all the downloads. I see key soft 7, but not a
separate program for key sync alone. I don't want to download all of KS7 to
my PC, do I? This is mildy frustrating.

Go to humanware / downloads and you will find the latest version of keysync
there. You need the latest version for keysoft v. 7

Subject: [Braillenote] key sync

hello,

in preparation for a trip, I just installed active sync and key sync on my
PC. I had no problems with the installation, getting the mPower and the PC
connected or anything. I read the manual thoroughly for using key sync and
prepared to start the process. And I keep getting a message saying I have
to install the latest version of key sync before continuing.

1. Why won't whatever version was on the CD work anyway?

2. Why didn't the CD that came with my transplant have the latest version?
And where can I get it so I can get this process going?

Thanks.

Sherry
