Bill,
Yes, there is a solution for using the BrailleNote and the GPS in the rain. A solution that I find to be extremely effective and a cheap solution is to use a plastic bag that can be found at a local grocery store. You would place your BrailleNote in the bag, and you would double knot it right around where the thumb keys are located. Of course, you are going to be doing this when you have the strap on. This is a solution that will require someone to use solely speech. The reciever isn't that effected by the rain, also it is the cheapest part of the entire GPS package. Of course, you will also have your earphones that you will be using. So, the only things that are not rain protected are the earphones and the reciever, which are meant to be durable to some extent in the rain. Your primary focus should be in the BrailleNote. Well, I hope you do get a chance to try this out, as I have found it very effective myself.

Subject: [Braillenote] M Power and GPS in rain?

Hi,

Any suggestions on traveling in rain with M Power and blue tooth GPS
receiver?

Just wondering if others have managed to protect devices and were able to
use in rain. If not will just leave in hotel room during travels if it
rains.
Thanks,

Bill
