By the way, Steph, if you go that route, although you will be able to do email on your BN, you won't be very far from the computer.

An alternative may be for you to get an Access Wireless Point which is another little box but goes with your router and will then allow you wireless access. It's probably better in these days to get a router which allows you both.

Hello Stephanie:

You are probably correct, in that your router, without antennas, IS NOT
wireless. So, you won't have to worry about special wireless
configurations. And, NO, the CD that came with your broadband or your router
can not and doesn't need to be installed onto your BrailleNote.

You will need the special low power socket Ethernet card that plugs into the
compact flash slot on the back of your router and an Ethernet cable to
connect it to the router. Once connected, the BrailleNote will see it as an
"Always on" Ethernet connection and you should be able to connect easily
with very little other configuration other than one in your options
connectivity settings.
