Jane, Stphanie, and others, After you installed the files, you must tell JAWS to use no braile display (go to Braille Options then select no display.). Then you must press enter on a file called pdihoks.exe. After you've done it. Restart JAWS. Shut it down again. Connect the serial cable or Bluetooth connection. Select Terminal from Main Menu and restart JAWS. Before you do this and before you shut down JAWS, you must tell that JAWS should use BrailleNote as a braille display. Restart JAWS, and the contents will appear on the braille display. Press space with I to get into input mode.

Sometimes I can't even get JAWS to recognize the BrailleNote as a display. Very disconcerting. Jane On Jun 19, 2006, at 11:53 AM, stephanie wrote: > Ok, I really must be missing something.
