Hi Phil,

I seriously doubt if your battery situation has anything to do with problems
sending mail.

You might try a 4 5 6 reset and see if that helps.

Usually, the 4 5 6 reset is a better choice than the 1 2 3 reset. The 4 5 6
one clears the registery, but I believe the 1 2 3 reset does not.

Anyway, the 4 5 6 reset really can cure a lot of problems, so it's certainly
worth a try and won't hurt a thing.

Hi. I did a regular reset, still can not send email. I then did a reset with
dots 1-2-3. I got a very odd message, serial number required, contact your
distributor. I did a regular reset again, and fortunately that message
didn't come back, but I still can not send email.
I don't know if this is related, but I did a battery recalibration over the
weekend. it seems to have gone well, except that when I started, nominal
charge was 1612 with the designed value at 1800. after the recalibration,
when fully charged, nominal charge is now 1437. I also lost my gps
application which I must reinstall.

hope someone has some ideas.
