Hello Stephanie: I'm assuming here that you are already using a router to connect up to broadband. In other words, there is a second box other than your cable/DSL modem that your PC connects to with a cable. This being the case, you're simply going to another router and this should not effect your broadband setup on your PC. The only thing that might change is the IP address of the router, but again, since your connecting via Ethernet cable, this should not cause problems. Now, if your router and cable/DSL modem are in the same box, there will be some reconfiguration required and perhaps your ISP can help.
To be honest, I don't remember the exact name/model number of the low-power Ethernet card that connects to your BrailleNote to let you connect to your router, but if you call Humanware at 800-722-3393 and choose #3 from the voice menu, They'll be able to give you all the details. No, an Ethernet cable didn't used to come with the card, but they are readily available at any electronics store like Radio Shack or an office supply store like Staples or OfficeMax. They come in various lengths and shouldn't cost more then $10 or so. hth Jeff [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
