While on the topic of the alarm, would it be possible to make a silent
alarm? I know you do not like hearing about other products, but I used a
note taker that had a silent alarm and it displayed a message.

YES! I would love to see a message, not even tied to the planner (no time
or all day stuff to set) when my unit comes on. Just type a message, such
as "don't forget to take trash out this Saturday" if that week had a
holiday, and trash day was delayed.
Maybe that was a bad example, but I would not want an alarm for trash day,
just automatic reminder so I wouldn't forget but also wouldn't need my BN
that Saturday to remember.
Alex
P.S. Sorry for jumping in here, but this seems like a feature that could
be integrated in the next release of KeySoft and I wanted to show my
support.

Hi, Jonathan. It would sure be neat if the bn could tell you if
you have an
appointment or task when you turn it on. Perhaps it could be a
setting and
also be timed to disappear after a specified number of seconds.
Otherwise, one has to get into the habit of pressing function N
with the
qwerty to see what is up for that day.
Also, as I noted in another message, I am concerned that if I set
a task
such as to "call my grandmother to wish her a happy birthday",
but I also
have a meeting at one pm that there would be a problem. because
the task is
set to busy and is considered as an all day event
Guess I will have to try it.
I just figured out how to do tasks and calendaring in outlook and
it is
pretty neat.
I like how when outlook is loaded your calendar and tasks are
displayed
right there on the opening screen even if all you brought it up
for was to
check your email.
Thanks.
