Nicole, the room temperature does not matter. It depends on the
temperature
of the actual battery compartment. If you have the AC adapter
plugged in,
the temperature will rise. Isaih, go to Options Menu and press
space with I
(read with i). Press t. The temperature will be given.

I think the temperature on the BrailleNote is wrong. My unit
tells me
it is operating at between 30C and 40C, which would be between
86F and
104F. My room is not even 80F. I apoligize if this is simply

being precise.
