Yes, there is a free conversion service to convert .PDF files into plain text, and I think its address is listed below. I think it is something like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] Important note: Not all .PDF files are convertible into text! Some .PDF files consist of graphic images of text rather than the actual text and these graphic files just don't convert at all. Adobe does have the Access Plug-In for the Acrobat .PDF reader but I believe it is free, not paid for. If the creator of the .PDF files is security conscious and has set the security flag of the .PDF, I don't believe the pdf2text service or the Access Plug-In will be able to read it. Of course the Access Plug-In only works on a PC, not a notetaker like a BrailleNote. Sorry I haven't been able to give you all good news. Brian -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
