Hi Lisa, downloading MP3 files is much improved in KeySoft 7 for two reasons. Firstly, we replaced the Microsoft Download Manager with our own. The Microsoft Download manager stores downloaded files in a temporary location before copying to the destination the user has specified. In our case, that temporary location is the KeySoft System Disk, which has limited space. In version 7, we download directly to the destination you specify. Secondly, version 7 allows you to set an option governing whether MP3 files are downloaded or streamed.

I'm wondering how to d"ownload MP3 files from the Web using the Braillenote. Since I would prefer not to download MP3 files illegally here is what I have discovered. I have also discovered this for illegal mp3 files. 1. Special software is required. 2. Special software has to be purchased. I realize the Braillenote does not handle software being downloaded onto the unit. 3. MP3 files when found (which happens rarely) refuse to download. I have the storage card in the Braillenote when I am trying to download MP3 files hoping to store the files on the storage card. The storage card is 1 gigabyte. I thought the Braillenote was supposed to play MP3 files. Maybe it only does when people are kind enough to email the user MP3 files? Any suggestions of Web sites that are helpful? I'd prefer to subscribe to a particular Web site to download music instead of paying for each song.
