Mary,

This patch that was mentioned is for all customers who are running 7.0, the
patch is entitled 7.01. The main purpose of the patch is to fix things as
the glitches in the planner, this includes losing your alarm notification
after performing a reset; it will fix downloading errors, which includes now
being able to download multiple files, before you had to do a reset after
each file that was downloaded (at the time it turns out that Web Braille
users are able to do this); this patch is mainly to patch up the glitches in
7.0, as the name "patch" hints; there are a few other things that the patch
is going to fix, but I just thought that I should list some of the major
ones. You will be able to get further details as Jonathan Mosen said later
this week, you will also be able to download the patch from humanware.com,
once it is released. This patch will not take a count from your SMA. Also,
all fixes covered in 7.01 will also be covered in 7.2, but if you are
wanting to get a jump on downloading multiple ffiles, never miss an alarm
again, then you can await the patch later on this week.

Just a reminder:
BrailleNote classic users, you will need a Compact Flash card between a 64
mb to a 512 mb, in order to install either patch or upgrade, nothing larger
will work.
BrailleNote mPower users, you will need an SD card between a 64 mb and a 512
mb to install the patch or upgrade, nothing larger will work.

Happy KeySofting.
Kevin
