I mentioned this some time ago John and I'd love it for reading of long documents, especially in a more silent mode than you can at present, unless you want the Braille to advance automatically. I personally never really get on with that feature so would welcome more use of the joy stick.

I am sure that the specs for version 7.2 have already been finalized, but for the next release, I sure would like to have the ability to define the functions of the joystick, like we can do for the navigation keys.

I would set left and right to "back" and "advance" respectively, as this would be a very convenient way for scrolling the display when reading long documents.
