I have made the following settings under the connectivity menu, and I keep
getting a device error: 608 when I go to connect to the net.
1. dial -up or lan connection
2. enter a configuration name
3. device to use? usb
4. phone number is left blank
5. service user name? verizon
6. service password is left blank
7. user software compression? yes
8. use IP header compression? yes
9. log onto network? no
10. wait for dial tone? no
11. additional modem configuration is left blank
12. obtain an ID adress automattically? yes
13. use a proxy server for this network? no
