Although BrailleNote runs under Windows CE 4.2, Windows CE itself, plus
KeySoft, has its limitations. There are other features that are unsupported
by Windows CE, meaning that HumanWare cannot implement Recycle Bin, for
example. This is true just simply because "Windows CE does not support this
feature."
Technical note: On Windows, there is a file (more presisely, folder) called
Recycled which stores files that werew deleted. Until you use Disk Cealnup
to delete these files, the files that you've deleted will reside on that
file/folder (and that is the crucial difference between Windows CE and
Windows because the KeySoft System Disk, or Main Memory does not have this
particular file; Mr. Riden, please correct me if I'm wrong). I believe that
this kind of issue is not the best subject to discuss.

Well, I do see the below point but it could be something like a
clipboard feature. I remember the old pocket braille was just a
large area of memory that you devided up. Why couldn't oh 2mb or
so of memory be a tiny recicle bin? The bn runs windows CE but
with proprietary software so I don't see why this could not be
done at some future date.
