Yes, you can do that. You are asked how long you want a recurring
appointment to continue. I have been surprised at the versatility of the
Planner. Just today I scheduled in someone's birthday, which of course I
want repeated for ever, so far as I am aware, but I want to know well in
advance to buy the card, so I have been able to select the alarm to go off
so many weeks, days and hours before. This means that, although it is an
all day event, the alarm won't wake me at midnight (assuming I've got to
sleep of course!) You can't get much better than that!

I have a suggestion for the planner. It would be cool if we could delete
by days, weeks, months, or years. wouldn't it be nice if say for example i
have a weekly occurrence. And an alarm that is scheduled to wake me up at
7 a.m. what if there was an option to make it go off just in that selected
year? for example, 2006 only.
