Like any computer, memory used will increase as you continue to use, task by
task, and that's effectively why quite often a reset is needed - just to
free up that memory. Well, that's my understanding anyway.
If you can't record then one of the first very important issues is how much
space you have left on your Flash disk, or CF if you have used settings in
the record options to direct your recording to Flash. Some of us have found
that recording doesn't work if directed to certain auxhiliary drives and
that's a great shame!
If you find you are running very short of space then look particularly in
your My Memos folder to see if you have been recording some in error because
they are large and take up the space so quickly - and I have not always
noticed! <SMILE>
Come back if you need more help with this.

hmmm, never had the recording issue, and the storage memory is being used
by the system I think.

Subject: [Braillenote] storage memory
Greetings,
I'm new to the list and would appreciate it if someone could direct me in
finding out why my storage memory used is, 1536 K. I've cleared
cookies, and deleted temp files. Also when I try to record a memo, it
says "the system can not find the path specified, insufficient recording
space.
Thanks.
Candace
