Nicole,

The BrailleNote runs seamlessly and, for the most part, very flawlessly, on the Windows system so, although there are some necessary folders showing on the Keysoft System disk, that's all they're there for. Some have made very small modifications, like swapping sound files for startup etc., but otherwise you can just leave well alone. This is where Keysoft also keeps data which sometimes needs to be renewed to the Flash disk so, in the main, just leave it to do its job. There is some existing space on the disk and this can be used in emergencies to keep an item, but bear in mind that a hard reset will take away your valuables, so don't leave them only in that place . . ..

Sorry, to answer your questions, yes, these folders are all parts of Windows. Exactly how they work with the BN I don't know specifically.

Subject: [Braillenote] What's recycled

Does the recycled folder on the KS disk do anything? Also, is my documents and some of those other unused folders simply part of windows?

Nicole
