Hi Kathleen:

From the Main Menu, go to the Utilities Menu. Press A for
application. You will see "run program from which drive?" Press K for the Keysoft System Disk. You will see "directory name?" I generally press Ctrl T. At the "folder name" prompt, go to the Windows Folder. Press Enter. Press the space bar so that you see "list of files". Press P until you see "prepare Sd card. Press Enter. You will see "command line?" Press Enter. It will give you a warning message, and verify that you want to do it. You'll be informed that any contents will be lost. You will get the message the your card was successfully prepared. Press Enter, and you'll be back in the Utilities Menu. Then, just go back to the Main Menu.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] URGENT: rules governing use of new SD
(securedigital) cards

Hello Carol P., Ann P., Rhonda C. and List!

I really need input from someone! My friend is coming to help
download KS7.01.
I bought a new SD card with 64 MB of memory, to use for the
software.

Someone mentioned that you need to format a new SD card before
using. However, there is no information in the USER GUIDE on
this subject, at least not under "Format."

Will someone please tell me if the new SD card has to be
formatted? If so, how?

(Kim is coming tomorrow, Friday, to do the downloading for me.
SO, it would be greatly appreciated to have I have an answer
before then.)

Thanks in advance for your help.
KC
