[Braillenote] question regarding recording memos

Greetings listers.  I wanted to know if there's currently a way 
to append to an audio file that is being recorded?  What I'd like 
to be able to do is record something, and then be able to go back 
later and ad to it if possible.  Have any of you done this 
successfully?  Please let me know if you have.  Thanks as always.
