Hello Jonathan OK on the BN not supporting USB Braille. GWMicro does give USB as an option for it, but they say that's not their problem (smile). Failing being able to get a USB-to-Serial adaptor before we go away in a few days, I would appreciate some help setting up using the BN with my laptop with BlueTooth. The devices see each other, I can pair, but I get a 'serial port not available' message from the BN. I presume you have to use the correct port as available on the Bluetooth services from the laptop but I don't seem to get it to work. Any specifics welcomed...

You can however get USB to serial converters, or many laptops now offer built-in bluetooth. I use the Belkin USB to serial adaptor which works really well for me. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote __________ NOD32 1.1650 (20060707) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
