Well, I have finally finished reading all of my e-mail that piled
up while I was at the NFB convention.
I would like to see if anyone might be able to help me with my
problems that I have with ks 7.01.
On Sunday, July 2, I gave my unit to humanware in order to clean
the braille display and fix the problem I was having with my
planner. If I ran the maintenance utility, it would come back
and say that it could not finish due to there not being enough
space on the flash disk.
I was told by humanware, that the 7.01 patch would fix this,
well, on Tuesday evening I was given my unit back and I checked
it and I still had the same problem. I gave it back to them.
I then received it back on Friday, the last day of the
convention.
So, Humanware had my unit the entire convention, but even though
they said the patch would fix my problem, it did not, and I now
have an even bigger problem, when I do a reset, the sd
compactflash pcmcia card and any usb drives that are connected,
do not show up at all. If I do another reset, then the drives
will show up.
I have not had this problem before Humanware installing ks 7.01
on my unit.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
