Jennifer, have you tried saving as a text? Unfortunately, if you
have the newer version of Keysoft, not all documents are
recognized.

I am not seeing an attachment. Before I open the message outlook
express
says attachment but I have tried every way that I know and one is
not
showing up. The documents do not have tables or pictures they
are straight
text. As I stated previously if I try to open the document in a
.doc file
it says it is not valid and if I save as an RTF the braille
display is blank
and the speech just beeps at me.

Make sure that your word documents do not have any pictures,
tables,
text fields, or columns. I have attached a document for you to
try that
should work. Not sure what's going on if it doesn't.

As a new Braille Note User I've been busy and not quite as

would like so I am transferring documents from a thumb drive

forth
from the computer to the braille note. I am using word 2003 and
when I

to read a document it says that is not a proper doc file, not
exact
wording,
but the file will not open. I've saved the word documents as
RTF files
and
the braille display will not come up. How can I read my word
documents?
