But what I was trying to clarify is that, when I download something to my PC, I don't have to save it to a disc or anything first, if I don't want to. I can just download it, presto. so, what I meant was I can't shut down the PC, hook the braille note up to the DSL connection, go to the link, download the patch directly to the mPower. It has to be done on a card first. I would be curious to know why that is, because that is somewhat inconvenient, and the mPower is certainly robust enough to handle direct downloads, I would have thought. I'm not saying that as a criticism, but just as a curiosity, a hmmm, wonder why. lol. Well, I just accepted a job offer in California, so I'll be moving and will deal with upgrades and things like that after I'm settled and working. You don't need a pc. You just need an Sd card. Then, from the Sd card that you downloaded from the BN, you download it to the mPower. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Sherry Gomes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected] >Date: Tue, 4 Jul 2006 10:29:27 -0700 >Subject: RE: [Braillenote] regarding the ks 7.1 download >Thanks, Vicki.
