Braille displays come in varying sizes but on the note takers I think they only come in 18, 20, 32 or 40. This depends on the type of notetaker you purchase and where from. I have seen 80 cell displays, 60 and 40 cell displays. These were seperate units and are hooked up to a computer or laptop to use.

Hi Rhonda and Others;
My Mod 80 has 80 braille cells and the display has a curve which
helped
me overcome a muscle problem I had in my right hand. It has its
own
keyboard.

Vicky;
I think of a 32 cell display as about half a line. How can you
read
such a small field and still find your place. I can not imagine
using
such a small field. I guess it is because I use a Braille
display at
work. It shows almost a full line. This reminds me of the days
when we
only had a 1 cell display. I think it was the versa Braille.
Like someone said earlier, I guess it is what ever you learn
first.
That is why I love the BT over the QT.

They don't make a display in much more than a 32, do they?
