Hello,
I think you are confused.
All braillenotes have a serial port, the mpower does not have a
parallel port but does have usb ports.

Hi David:
If you are talking mPower, the BN does not have a serial port.

Use the humanware cerial cord with the usb. I think it can be
done, and if
not, contact this email address off list. I have suggestions.

Subject: [Braillenote] Using Braille Note as a Refreshable
Braille Display
Hi, folks. I am attempting to use my Braillenote Classic,
running
Keysoft 7.l0, as a refreshable Braille display on a Gateway M275
Tablet
Pc which does not have a serial port. I am using JAWS 7.00.
I am using a USB to serial port adapter but when I try to use
terminal
mode with JAWS, nothing happens. I have gone into the Braille
options
for JAWS and made sure Braillenote is the default display.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
