There is actually a way to do that: by setting up a home or small office network. To browse the files on your computer from your BrailleNote, you need to create a Wireless network on your PC (when you do that, the network option will be availible). To actually view files on your computer, you have to enable file sharing feature. One more thing: you need to point to a specific folder that you wish to share, press alt+enter to bring up Properties, check the share checkbox on the networking or similar tab, and click on OK button.

That's the way we could get at files on our computers. I have tried to do just that with no luck in the past. ----- Original Message ----- From: "chaman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 23, 2006 5:15 AM Subject: [Braillenote] wi fi cards hello, if i get a wi fi card into my braille note and have a router onto my pc will i be able to access the files on my pc from the braille note? if not how can that happen? thanks chaman ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
