You know, I just love stories like yours, and I say, good work,
and may there be many more examples like the one you shared with
us. Like you, I love trying my m power out in a variety of
situations, and so far, I have yet to be disappointed in any
real significant way. Thanks Humanware! Isaih

Subject: [Braillenote] Network cards
Hello all,
I was asked to participate in some kind of town hall meeting or
research study. I believe it had something to do with the
upcoming political campaign. I was told i'd receive $75 just for
showing up. It was going to be at the Sheritan Hotel which is
downtown Billings Montana. I brought my Braillenote with me to
take some notes since I had never participated in such an event
before. Apparently, a number of groups were going in and out of
the meeting room so had to wait my turn. I was looking forward
to participating in this event.
While I waited, I decided to check out the wireless network at
the hotel. I could do no wrong! Everything worked beautifully!
I scanned for networks and got the SSID of arescom. This was on
the third floor of this twenty story hotel. I downloaded all my
Email and dealt with it accordingly. Another gentleman sat
beside me and I showed him an audio stream which played nicely
through my M-power. It was time to go into the room. I was
asked to stay back. I was informed that they were going to show
videos and it was felt by the presenters that I couldn't learn
much from them. There was a 28 page booklet to read and fill
out. They were trying to tell me in their own bumbling way they
didn't have a reader and the means to pay one. Had they known I
couldn't read printed material conveniently, they would have
passed me by! I learned that later on. They cheerfully gave me
my $75 and sent me on my way. It was the easiest $75 I've earned
in my life. While waiting for the cab in the Hotel Lobby, I
again check for a wireless network and got one with the SSID of
DSH. I could do no wrong with that one either. I was truly
impressed. I wrote an Email from the lobby and sent it to a
list.
When all works well, the M-power is truly a marvel!
