Sharonda,
If you wish, you can buy any CompactFlash or Secure Digital cards at any
electronics store (I would recommend cards between 128 MB and 1 GB). And
there are many USB devices that should work as well. The Bookshare unpack
utility for PC can be found at the Bookshare website. One more thing: you
need to purchase the Bookshare membership in order to download copyrighted
materials.

the last thing that you've asked, you need to more things: a Flash memory
card (CF, SD, or whatever) or an external USB device (hard drive, floppy
drive, key or thumb drive or whatever you can afford) plus Bookshare unpack
utility from Bookshare's website (this is essentially a PC version or the
bookshare unpack utility).

This was the answer to my question. Is there some particular kind that I
need of the card or drive? Will whatever I buy work? Sorry for multiple
questions. I'm just determined to put my wonderful unit to the most use.
Thanks for all help.

Sharonda,
As Richard said, without Internet Connection, no Bookshare, period. In order
to download a bookshare file or any file form the Internet, you need to
estably an Internet Connection via USB, serial, InfraRed, or Bluetooth (on
your case, Wired or Wireless ethernet). You can download any version or a
book, but we recommend brf version. Yes, in order to perform the last thing
that you've asked, you need to more things: a Flash memory card (CF, SD, or
whatever) or an external USB device (hard drive, floppy drive, key or thumb
drive or whatever you can afford) plus Bookshare unpack utility from
Bookshare's website (this is essentially a PC version or the bookshare
unpack utility).

So there is no drive that I can buy that I can connect to my computer and
download from Bookshare then connect this drive to my braillenote? I'm
waiting for my wireless card. But for now, I wanted to see what I could do.
Thanks.
