Hi. Rhonda taught me how to use the calculator to keep my checkbook records in a database called Banking that she helped me create. When I hit s for scentific calculator and the last calculation's up there, I make an entry which is either an addition or a subtracted number hit a a-chord and enter. But when I do a reset, I lose the dang number and must go into the last entry of my database (based on the date and put that calculation back inthe memory. Is there any way this could be fixed so a reset doesn't kill the calculation in memory? Also, if I don't want to disturb this calculation and make another one without writing over it, is there any way to do this without erasing this database calculation? You might have gone over this with me before, Rhonda, but I don't recall. I have an m-power Bt with 7.1. I love the database going to add a record, putting the fields in, going to the balance, hitting enter with i-chord and c, and having that calculation go into my database. I wish there was a way that a calculation could automatically go into the database without putting it inthe memory, then it would be almost like a real, complete checkbook program. That's exactly what I use this "bank" database for, however. I don't do it month to month, because I think it would be too comfusing. Anyway, my numbers don't double, but maybe that's because I don't know how to do any other calculations when this is sitting in memory, and this calculation's sitting there when I hit the s. I wish there was a way this calculation would be in memory without it showing up when you did the s chord, (unless you wanted to see it to make the entry. What I'm trying to say I wish there was a feature that when you hit the s for scientific calculator, you could either have a blank screen, or see the calculation you could add to or subtract from to put inthe database. Am I stating this correctly, Rhonda? Goodness, goodness. Thanks for any info you or anyone can give me about using the calculator inthe database. Jonathan, what do you think about fixing this feature, lad?
Well, talk to you later.
Nancy
