Keith,
Before we dive in, I'll go over what is really Bluetooth and WiFi is:
Bluetooth is a type of wireless radio connection that works as a peer to
peer model. It is not a network. In order to connect to a Bluetooth device
properly, you need a string known as authentication code. This proves to the
other Bluetooth device that it is okay to connect to other device.
Wireless Fidelity is a type of network connection that is wireles equivalent
to Ethernet cable. In this mode, you can browse folders, print to a network
printer (I'm not sure whether it is supported or not), and more.
So, you cannot use network option using Bluetooth connection (Bluetooth is
peer to peer, reather than network), while you can browse the network using
Wireless connection.

Hi,

Is it possible to access the shared folders on the computer and the shared
printers using Blue Tooth on the Braille Note?

I too am working on a WiFi network, but the Blue Tooth that is built into
the new Braille Note may be able to do what I need for now.

Thanks,

Keith

Yes, Wireless card is a type of network card. In order browse your PC, you
need to enable so called file and printer sharing. This alows you to view
files on your PC from your BrailleNote. Also, you need to enable sharing on
your favorite folder under its properties dialog.
