Hi Joseph, I too think that the BN would take a huge step forward if there were a SDK. I can understand that HW wants to make sure that products for the BN are of as high a quality as possible, but I think that HW is also interested in protecting their assets. If some one else is programming and making money selling software for the BN, then HW is not making that money. So I'd bet we'll see a financial package from HW before we see an SDK. They'll make more money selling another upgrade to every one with a financial package in it rather than a SDK to just a few folks.

While some people hink that Excel is not supported, it is in fact supported on the BrailleNote. This can be achieved by saving the resulting .xls file as .csv (Comma Separated Values). You can copy the csv vile on your BrailleNote and use Import Data feature on the Database Manager, effectively, having almost the same functions as Pocket Excel. 3. In order to implement some external features on the BrailleNote, a key component must be released: Software Development Kit.
