The correct title is Comma Separated Values (CSV).

I believe this is what is commonly refered to as a comma delimited or comma
separated file. This means that if you looked at the raw file, each item in
each record is separated by a comma, and each record is separated from the
next by a hard line break.

You'll have to choose CSV file from the File Type combo box when saving the
spreadsheet in Excel. Not sure exactly what it is, but I think it's the
equivalent of rich text format or even plain text, but for spreadsheets.
You will be warned, in that generous Microsoft fashion, that you may lose
some of your formatting.

Can you please explain to me what a csv file is and how to save it if
there are any special processes?

Thanks,
Nicole
