Hi list! Not long ago on this list I read about several people
who were having problems downloading files directly to their 80
gig Western Digital Passport portable hard drives.
You could copy to them apparently, but not do a direct download
like you can with a Cf or Sd card.
A friend of ours got to the Wd website and gave me info that
might explain the problem.
To make a long story short, the drive has a secure
synchronization thing that will automatically sync with your
computer, and, "Works with Windows 2000 and Xp only."
Could it be that this is somehow interfering with the Bn?
So it will let you copy and backup, but when you try to download
directly onto it, it somehow kicks in this secure sync thing and
that doesn't work with either Windows ce or Keysoft.
Is this a possible answer? Don't know, but thought I'd throw this
in for what it's worth
