And there would have to be different product keys for not only the Braillenote Classic, as well as the mPower, but different product keys depending upon what suite of programs you currently have, and which suite of programs you want to upgrade to. Not only that, there would have to be differently priced SMA's depending on your upgrade level. It would become extremely complicated, errors would occur on Humanware's end and on the users end, and you would end up with a lot of extremely frustrated BN users. Not good.

Rusty, I'm embarrassed to say that I don't quite understand the Database chapter yet, grin. I must read it, take notes, practice it. Rhonda walked me through it, but I'd suggest you ask her for this explanation. She's a whiz at figuring this out. I might write Tiffany about the excel spreadsheet temporarily, although I'd like a password-protected, already-figured out financial program for my Braille Note. I didn't see Karyn, but Ray, it was good to see you at the Acb convention. Your idea of different suites of products is a good one, though it'd probably take awhile for Humanware to get it to work. Probably more work for them but better for us. Kathleen, yes, I use the Braille Note calculator. The phoblem is, when you do a reset, the calculation doesn't stay inthe memory, and one must go to the last date entered, take the calculation, put it back into memory, and addstsubtract from them when making another entry. I don't have this by month, and I'm not yet sure how many fields you can put in a database. Rhonda can expound upon that, if she wishes to. It would be neat to have a financial program that could be imported to one's computer if one wished to do so. Identity theft is a concern, but using storage cards, passwords should solve this problem. I keep my banking database on my Br Note inthe "database section. This is quicking up disk space, right? Is there a way to put a password on this "banking" database if I want to keep it on my Bn? I have a feeling I can't, but I'm probably wrong, grin. Well, thanks for reading.
