Hello all,

One of the competitive products has the removable battery. The more commonly known competitor use to have a removable battery but went back to one that can't be removed by the consumer so what gives here? I'm told the battery that is sodared in is suppose to be more reliable! That's why they continue to do what they do. Changing this situation would require another hardware upgrade. There is a proposed separate battery which would plug into where the AC adapter normally goes. I understand this is in the works so stay tuned.

Hi All:

I agree 100% on the battery suggestion. That way, if you found you
needed a new battery, you could buy one from HW and have it sent to you
so you could put it in yourself. Many products come with batteries that
you can independently change.

What would also be nice along with a battery you can change is a charger
that would allow you to charge the battery separate from the BN. That
way, if you use your BN a lot, you could have one battery in the unit
and when it is discharged, put in a freshly charged battery and use the
BN while charging up the first battery.
