Here is how one would read the manual using the book reader on a BT keyboard. I have a BT unit so this is why I am able to provide this information as aposed to the QT units...sorry.
So, to read the manual, or even a keyword document using the book reader do the following. 1. from the main menu press b. The Unit prompts read book in which folder? 2. Press backspace to go to the desired drive, for the manual you'd want the keysoft system disk. 3. choose the manual folder and press enter. 4. Now go through the chapters and select the one you want to read and hit enter. 5. The chapter opens, and to search for something, press space with f. The unit prompts search forward or back? press f for forward or b for back. Then type whatever it is you wish to search for in the document. To access the manual from the options menu do the following on a BT unit. 1. press space with o for the options menu. 2. press u once in the options menu. Depending on if you have read the manual this way before or not depends on what the unit asks. It may ask if you would like to continue reading whatever section and if yes, press y and if no press n. 3. if you pressed n as mentioned above,You are then told to press t for table of contents or i for index. 4. Pressing t gives you the chapters of the manual, where as if you press i, you are able to look up more individual topics. Note: when reading using either the t or i functions, the search command may not be used. I hope this information has been helpful to anyone who may want or need it.
