Hey, thanks for the specks! Very interesting! However, I have what might
sound like a silly question. On the PC you can of course delete your Windows
folder inadvertently. Can you delete the Keysoft system disk inadvertently,
or can you not break it in the sense you can on a PC? I know it sounds a bit
silly, but as I like exploring files I may do stupid things like that and I

The processor (CPU) is Intel Xscale PXA272 clocked (running) at about
416 MHz (megahertz), which is the fastest CPU for PDA's on the market
today. It has a feature called Wireless SpeedStep that allows the
processor to adjust speed by itself.
The memory values and their explanations are:
RAM (Random Access Memory, where informaiton can be written and
rewritten):
64 MB (Actually, half of it (32 MB) is KeySoft System Disk itself
where HumanWare puts system files, and other half (32 MB) is the
actual space where KeySoft and other programs run) Flash (The location
where you can store data): 128 MB Note that if you store files on the
KeySoft System Disk, when the battery goes flat, or if you reset your
machine with reset with dots 4-5-6, the files will be gone.
Expansion slots: PC Card slot (on the right side), CompactFlash slot
(on the back just to the right of the USB client port), SD (Secure
Digital) Card slot (under the USB client port)
Ports: As you know from various posts, mPower has a USB client port to
connect to your computer (actually you can use Internet through this
port), two USB host ports (where you can connect any USB devices that
work with mPower), serial port, modem, and an InfraRed port (great for
embossing or printing).
On the left side, there are two jacks: the microphone jack is the jack
just next to the Power switch, and underneith it, is the headphone
jack, and the Record button.

I just want to say that Humanware came to my house this morning to
demonstrate the MPower, and I think it's the best Braille Note taker
I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how responsive it was, how silent
the Braille display is, and how intuitive the Keysoft interface is.
I'm definitely getting one. Even my father thought it would be very
useful!
Unfortunately I couldn't see all the features that I'd like to see,
for example the Internet, but one of the Humanware representatives,
Martin, is going to ring me up and we can have a chat about the
technical specifications of it. However, I think it's a great product
and I'd like to thank Humanware for making such a great product. Keep up
the good works!
