I remember getting into an argument with my high school resource teacher
because I preferred asking a sighted reader to look up a words instead of
using the 7 volume braille Pocket Vest dictionary. The majority of the
words weren't in the Pocket Vest Dictionary. Yes, a dictionary for the BN
would come in handy for students.

: These are all wonderful resources; but then there are wonderful
: dictionaries on the web too. But from what I'm hearing, the need to have
a
: dictionary is more important than having an encyclopedia. I just remember
: how, when I was in school, I loved to browse the encyclopedias, looking up
: whatever. <grin>
