The Royaltec 2001 is an SI rf 3 RECEIVER, AND IS MUCH MORE SENSATIVE THAN THE 1000. IT CAN BE HAD FOR ABOUT $100. The 2010 is identicle to the 2001, except that it has a long life battery that will give 17 hours per charge rather than 6.

August 9, 2006 Hi Jeff: I have finally purchased a different gps receiver from Adaptive Information Systems Inc. owner Roger Behm pronounced Bame like game. I got a Royaltek 1000 for $150.00 it has a tactile on off switch on the side it is half the size of the Delorme bluelogger and is more sensitive. Many thanks for your reply and assistance to my questions. If you would like Roger's address and phone numbers please email me at wgramza at verizonddnet Thanks again.
