Hello:

You can't e-mail entire folders off the BN, and, you can't zip or
compress them in any way so you could do this. You can e-mail all of
the files from a folder to your friend. You'd do this as follows:
1. On the BT keyboard, from the main menu, press dots 1-5 together, "e"
to go to the keymail menu.
2. Press "w," dots 2-4-5-6 together to send a new e-mail.
3. The BN will say and show "send to:" and you can type in your
friend's name if he or she is in the address book. If your friend is
not, type his or her e-mail address. You'll need to type the e-mail
address in computer braille. This means you type out letters as you
normally would, and you type numbers in nemeth code without a number
sign. The "@" sign is typed by first holding down the space bar and
pressing "u", then pressing dot 4. When you've entered the address
information, press enter.
4. The BN will show and say "also send to:" at which time if you do not
have another address to type, press enter.
5. You'll hear and see "copy to:" just press enter.
6. You'll hear and see "blind copy to:" just pres enter.
7. You'll hear the BN say and see "subject:" displayed, at which time
you type in whatever you want for a subject. This can be done in grade
2 braille. When you've typed in the subject, press enter.
8. Next, the BN will show and say "Attach a file to this message?"
press "y".
9. You'll be asked where the first file is, first the drive, then the
folder, and then the file. I don't think you can attach multiple files
using the dot 3-5 chord whild card, so you'll have to attach each file
individually. When you finish ataching files, the BN will show and say
"attach another file?" at which time you type "n". As you attach files,
when you hear and see "atach another file," press "y."
9. You'll be in the e-mail message which is just like typing in
keyword, so you can put in whatever you want in grade 2 braille. When
you are done, hold down the space bar and press dots 1-5 "e." You be
asked "ready to send this e-kmail? At which time you type "y."
10. You'll be placed back at the keymail menu. You can either press
"r" to read e-mail from the inbox, then answer "y" when asked if you
want to check for new e-mail. Or, you could hold down the space bar and
press dots 1-5 to exit keymail. The BN will show and say "there is one
item in the outbox. Send now?" at which time you type "Y." You'll then
be asked to connect to your e-mail as usual and you can send the e-mail
with attachments.

I hope this rather long explanation helps.
