I use plain old google all the time with my BN.
Last weekend my sisters and I were sitting around in the living room of my
mom's house. One of my uncles brought over a bag of these fieldgreens which
Mexicans like to cook and eat; they're called verdolagas. My older sister
said, "What are those called in English?" Sitting there in the recliner--the
best seat in the house--I connected to google via bluetooth, cellphone and
my MPower and searched regular old garden variety google for "verdolagas." I
found that it is called purslain, or sometimes pigweed. My sisters didn't
like that last name much.

The problem I have with google, particularly when connected with my cell
phone is that quite often if I click on one of the pages found in the
search, the pages are likely to crash my bluetooth connection.

Often I'm able to find the info I need in the little excerpt which google
provides on the search page.

Subject: [Braillenote] URL for Accessible Search

The address for the accessible search is:

http://labs.google.com/accessible/

I have gone to the site but have not used it yet or compared it with the
regular, garden variety, pain-in-the-neck Google.
