Hi Rusty,
I'm also a long-time garden-variety Googler, but I have to say
this new one looks awfully good! It has, at least for the moment,
replaced the garden-variety one as my home page on the BN.
As for Pigweed, it was immortalized in song by Mark Knopfler on
his Ragpicker's Dream CD. Apparently, it is great as long as you
use it when it is young! Did Google tell you that?
BTW, congratulations on the EBay tutorial! I hope it helps lots
of folks shell out lots of dollars on stuff they discover they
simpply cannot live without! I wish you much success, and would
advise the whole list that, if you want it, the chances are good
that EBay's got it! Happy shopping!
Rachael

I use plain old google all the time with my BN.
Last weekend my sisters and I were sitting around in the living
room of my
mom's house. One of my uncles brought over a bag of these
fieldgreens which
Mexicans like to cook and eat; they're called verdolagas. My
older sister
said, "What are those called in English?" Sitting there in the
recliner--the
best seat in the house--I connected to google via bluetooth,
cellphone and
my MPower and searched regular old garden variety google for
"verdolagas." I
found that it is called purslain, or sometimes pigweed. My
sisters didn't
like that last name much.
The problem I have with google, particularly when connected with
my cell
phone is that quite often if I click on one of the pages found in
the
search, the pages are likely to crash my bluetooth connection.
Often I'm able to find the info I need in the little excerpt
which google
provides on the search page.
Rusty

The address for the accessible search is:
http://labs.google.com/accessible/
I have gone to the site but have not used it yet or compared it
with the
regular, garden variety, pain-in-the-neck Google.
