Actually, there is a way to do that.
While in your inbox, press the find command, (it's read with f on the
QT) and you will be prompted for which details you wish to search for.
Press s for subject.   Type in the text you wish to search for.  Press
enter.  You will then have a list of email messages that have the
subject text string you specified in your search.
Not perfect, but it works.
