I am attempting to use a BrailleNote classic, BT 32, as a braille display with a Gateway M275 Tablet. The tablet does not have a serial port.
I have tried a USB to serial adapter, using it with the BN's null modem serial cable, and it does not appear to work. Are there specific configurations I should be checking? Is there a particular type of adapter that may work better than others? Or am I just out of luck? By the way, upgrading to an Mpower is out of the question at this time.
