When I move a file from E-Mail to CF card, I usualy move it back to E-Mail to rea. Now, I'll see about the options you just mentioned. Thank you.

It occurred tome that you can store e-Mail you wish to keep on an external drive too.

Your comment about Jonathan is interesting. I've been in the same place with him on several occations. He always apeared to prfer the VN; and, based on the observations of the sighted folks with me, he didn't use braille. (I think it all depends on how you define "substantial hearing loss." If a person can use a cellphone and listen to voice devices, it would seem they might be hard-of-hearing. Most of the folks I know who rely on voice to access informaiton, have, as yet, little understanding of how imortant braille is to those who cannot do so. I've found the same to be tru of those who are able to rely on large print.)
