Carol,
This fact is normal. PK is desinged as a companion device, not a fledged
notetaker. The RAM is actually 40 MB (you'll remember some discussions about
download issue), where the actual half is the RAM memory, while the other
side, called KeySoft System Disk, is actually a ROM disk. It occationally
happens that some manufactuerers use capacities like 64 MB, where 32 MB is
the actual RAM and the other32 MB is the system partition. The Flash Disk is
about 16 MB and this is typical for some devices.

Subject: [Braillenote] CAN ANYONE PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME!

Hi all,

There's something that really puzzles me with the PK (well, mine anyway).

I didn't look when first receiving my PK but eventually discovered that the
size of the Keysoft System Disk is considerably greater than the Flash disk.

Their full capacity sizes are:
KS System - 19.55 MB; and
Flash - 13.97 MB respectively.

Any comments from HW staff would be interesting. I sure wish we had a bit
more room on the Flash drive!
