Hello Jonathan and others,

Thanks so much for setting me straight on the problems encountered with the wireless connection.

I think you definitely have an access issue, or should I say lack of access.
By the way, Keyweb is quite user friendly. I've had no problems using it to access the Net.

Take care all.

Subject: RE: [BrailleNote] Notetakers andWireless InternetAtTheACB2006Convention

Hi all, the issue with Internet access at the ACB Convention is quite
complex, and most definitely frustrating. On the screen was a button that
needed to be pressed to signify your agreement with the terms and
conditions. Some screen readers had trouble seeing this button, and the
hotel advised that pressing alt-I would access the I Agree button. The
BrailleNote was not seeing this button either, and under Windows CE, I
don't believe keyboard shortcuts are supported. I was not able to find out
what kind of technology was making the button, but it could possibly have
been a kind of Javascript that Pocket IE wasn't seeing. Had the I agree
Button been a standard button, KeyWeb would have been able to see it, so
we are dealing with an accessibility issue here.

I would be interested in knowing whether other devices using Pocket IE
could see this button.

In most cases, I have found that wireless access works very well, but in
some cases, like this one, the way the pages are constructed creates a
road block.
