I have noticed that when one marks off a block of text in a grade 2 file
and tells the bn to make the block computer Braille, all letters and symbols
that have a different meaning when used with the uppercase key sequence are
made uppercase. For example, ` becomes @, ~ becomes ^,and } becomes ]. I have
tried to use the find and replace function as a solution, but, as far as I can
tell, it is not case sensitive. After doing the replacements, the letters are
still capitalized. Basically, if one has forgotten to start computer Braille,
he or she is just as well off rewriting it, unless he or she wants all of his
or her computer Braille capitalized. This could really be a problem,
especially sense URL's and email addresses are case sensitive, and not everyone
uses 8 dot computer Braille, which indicates the capitals. For a later version
of KS, I would recommend making it where the grade change for the block did not
change the case and where the find and replace is case sensitive. Please
excuse me if this is something specific to my machine or if I simply don't know
how to do it right.
