I'm honestly not sure of the model, but it's an all-in-one printer, scanner,
and copier. It works great with my laptop, but when I connect the cable to
the mpower it says "card not recognized" and won't respond to anything until
I reset.

Is it a Dell 1815 laser by any chance?
Reason I ask is I've considered getting one of these printers but
have hesitated as I didn't know if it would work with the Mpower
or not.
What model of Dell printer are you using and did you receive an
error message when you tried to print?
