Hi. I have an m-power 18 with a Braille display. Today I
received 2 hours' training with Jamie Adams, since I've had the
Gps system for over 2 years and hauen't had the initiative to
learn or use it. Anyway, we had a great session, and I now find
it very fascinating. However, don't refer me to the Gps list
right now, though you can give the Url one more time, if you
wish. I'm on too many lists at the moment, and I'll be
practicing on my own, calling Jamie, or tech support for awhile.
I had created a virtual route, saved it, but didn't have time to
edit it till I came home. There were a few street names, with
some gibberish like caret, braces, or something like that, etc.
I tried just entering the name written out inthe folder Routes
I'd created on my compact flash card. The file name was
hometowork which I wrote out. When I looked at it, it had a gps
extension. I tried it again with a "brf, then a "txt extension,
but it said violation excess something-or-other, I can't quite
remember all the words. It wouldn't let me enter it with the
"brf or the "txt extension. How can I save this route and be
able to read it in a legible format, preferably in text? Once I
save it to the folder "routes" which I wrote out, of course,
since it said it must be written in computer Braille, I need to
know how to create the file so all the info is there and I can
read everything in it, smile. Should I have put dot doc, or what
at the end? Go figure, I don't know how to create the file inthe
folder, grin. Goodness, goodness. I hope this isn't considered
off-topic, because I'm using it with my Braille Note, and I just
need a little help right now. If no one can help me, I'll have
to call Sendero tech. Thanks very much.
